Anthony Segi is a player that combines athletic ability, technique, and hustle to make a lot plays from the linebacker position. He has good feet and very nice lateral movement to avoid blockers. He is able to scrap along the line of scrimmage while keeping his shoulders square. He uses his hands very well to play off of blockers. He can sift through the wash and is capable of making plays from sideline to sideline. He can get downhill and stuff backs in the hole. He's very physical at the point of attack and does a good job of taking on blockers on the move. He has the hips to

turn and drop into coverage. He reads the quarterbacks eyes and displays the ability to close on the ball. Anthony plays with a good motor, takes great angles to the ball, and is a strong tackler that can deliver punishing blows. He has the burst to exploit seams when blitzing and the body control to defeat blockers with a move.  Anthony has good size to man the middle at the college level, he also has the ability to play the outside linebacker position.
