Chris Brockman  is an excellent all around linebacker. He has a very good first step and can quickly penetrate gaps to make plays in the backfield. He has good feet, and despite his quickness can also be physical at the point of attack. He uses his hands well to play off of blocks. He is very good at slipping and getting around blocks both in a crowd and in space. He moves well over the trash and can make plays sideline to sideline. He has good change of direction skills to come across and chase plays from behind and to comeback and make plays underneath. He pursues

hard, takes good angles, and has the speed to make up for poor angles. His speed makes him a threat to make a play anywhere on the field. He has the speed and athletic ability to turn and run with running backs and tight ends. He is also physical enough to get a bump on tight ends. He is a solid wrap up tackler. He is a threat as a pass rusher as he has the quickness and speed to get around blockers, wastes little ground getting to the quarterback, and is capable of making a big play when he gets there.  Chris has good overall recognition and diagnose skills because of his football intelligence.
