Collin Babcock  6' 4" 215lbs. TE 2011

Collin Babcock is a promising tight end and defensive end prospect. He has good size and could be a productive player as a receiver and a blocker. He needs to add bulk; he definitely has the frame to do so. With time in a college weight program it should be no problem for him to bulk up to a more ideal size for a college tight end or defensive end. As a receiver he can be a good target in the short-to-intermediate range. He has good hands and does a nice job adjusting to the ball.

He displays good concentration. He is a solid route runner for a high school tight end and does a good job finding soft spots in the zone. He also does a good job of adjusting to his quarterback and helping him out. He does display enough burst to pick up some yards if he can get turned up-field and get going. He has good upside as a blocker. He needs to polish up his technique and add size. As a defensive end he has a physical edge to him. He has a wonderful frame and while on the light side, he should be able to add needed bulk in time. He looks on film to have a good wingspan and uses that to his advantage. He has a good get-off but is a bit inconsistent. At times he can be very explosive he also has the build of a speed edge rusher and will flash that ability to get up field and run by a blocker. He does display the physical nature to get hands on and push past a blocker. In the run game, he can be physical at the point of attack. He uses his hands to make contact and create separation.
