Hogan Goodson is the prototypical pocket passer in terms of arm strength, and ball handling, yet he is a much better athlete than you would expect. He has good height excellent arm strength.  He can really zip it and fit the ball in tight areas or drive it deep downfield. He displays terrific timing and quickness on his release. Shows great touch on the fade route and also does an outstanding job of leading his receivers on vertical routes. He is capable of getting rid of the ball rather quickly. Shows great timing in the short-to-intermediate passing game, throws a catchable ball and leads

his receivers when he gets time to set his feet. He works from under center and also works  well from the shotgun. He shows adequate footwork and gets set quickly. He is a surprising athlete and while he looks like he can't buy extra time, he certainly can when the opportunity presents itself. The bottom line is that Hogan has an excellent arm and can put the ball anywhere on the field, even when off balance.
