While Jamarius Quary is listed as a defensive back  he can play either  running back safety/outside linebacker or corner. At receiver, Jamarius is a load.  He is effective on screens, reverses and even downfield,  he also has good open-field run skills to make plays. He has very good ball skills, runs sharp routes in the short-to-intermediate passing game and has deceptive elusiveness and speed. He is extremely difficult to tackle, as he runs like a tailback and is very strong in the lower body. He will run over defensive backs in space. In terms of speed, he has football speed he is

explosive, but he is fastest when tracking the ball.  Jamarius  may be better on defense as he has a nose for the ball. He fills extremely hard versus the run and is relentless in pursuit. He takes good angles in pursuit and has developed into a sound open-field tackler. Is fluid and athletic. Shows upside and quickness to close as a pass rusher and has experience at defensive end. He is instinctive and athletic and has the ball skills to develop in coverage. Jamarius has the explosiveness off the edge to rush the passer and could be used in that capacity.
