Joseph Gonzalez may be the most dependable post prospect we’ve seen in a long time. The best way to describe Joseph's game is determined. He has strong physique where he can power through his defender with strength and good bounce. In addition, his footwork and dexterity allows him to score at a consistent basis in the paint area. He can step out and hit the mid-range jump shot with regularity and his stroke is pretty smooth. When he arrives at in college a year from now, it would not surprise me to see him make an impact and impress coaches. Joseph plays with
a high motor he has savvy fundamentals and toughness and he’s a good athlete. He is a hard-nose rebounder that understands positioning and he has very good hands. In addition, he has a strong drop-step move and he can hit the jump shot at the elbow with regularity. Overall, he should be very good in a screen-and-roll offensive set and/or pick-n-pop.
