Kody Renz is a dual-threat quarterback at the high school level, but might make the move to cornerback or wide receiver in college. At this point he's a dual-threat signal caller with good tools to develop at the next level. He has polished footwork, is poised and balanced in the pocket. Does a good job creating his own throwing lanes. The ball comes out of Kody’s hand quickly and he displays natural wrist snap. He has a live arm and gets good zip on his slants and intermediate

passes. Surveys the field well and will go through his progressions. Leads receivers well and can fit it into tight spots. Does a good job hitting the receiver's backside shoulder on hitch and out routes. He will surprise you with the air he can get under his deep out routes from the opposite hash. Shows he can place the ball over the top of coverage and puts nice touch on his fade routes. A threat to move the chains with his legs due to his speed (4.55/40). Displays good quickness and vision through traffic, reaches top-speed by just his second or third step. Brings a gunslinger mentality to the position will not have difficulty making the difficult, off-balance throw at the next level. Kody has a ton of natural talent as both an athlete and a passer.
