Nick Vasko’s production and athleticism stands out above his less-than-ideal measurables over time. Nick has the lateral quickness to create his own passing windows and he's a timing passer who likes to get the ball out of his hand as quickly as possible. He has a quick release, shows good accuracy and makes nice pre-snap reads.  Nick excels at changing up his velocity and hitting his receivers in stride.  He has great touch underneath and throws very good crossing-route passes.  Nick makes very quick decisions and can routinely beat the blitz. He's a very good ball handler who freezes linebackers with his play fakes. Shows good mobility within the pocket.

Can sidestep the rush and release in a hurry. He isn't afraid to take off and run. Can buy a second look or pick up a first down with his feet. Nick can throw effectively while rolling to either side, compensating height with great timing and a live release.  He will need to work on finding passing windows. Has experience working both from under center and out of the shotgun, which is important for a quarterback whose vision often will be obstructed when working through progressions.
