As far as pocket passers go, one of the traits that stands out about Taylor Cohan is his presence and awareness. He is calm, shows balance and slight movement skills in the pocket to work through reads and deliver the football. He has good height and a slim build, but possesses some strength to build upon. He has good arm strength and when sound with his footwork can make just about every throw. Takes something off shorter passes and shows good touch. Accurate, throws to space rather than receiver and can lead receivers. Shows good range in the short and

intermediate zones and throws a quick, catchable ball. Appears to read defenses well and make sound adjustments before the snap. Works out of the shotgun, but does have the footwork and drop speed to be a factor from under center. Has adequate mobility, can buy second chances and throws fairly well on the run. Handles the ball well and can freeze linebackers with play fakes. Has good elusiveness and adequate speed for a pocket guy and can pick up some yards with feet. Taylor shows a smooth delivery, is consistent can release the ball quickly when he needs to and his release points can help him avoid batted balls at the line. Overall, Taylor Cohan is a good sharp high character prospect he is a late bloomer (he grew four inches in the last year). He has a tremendous upside his best football is ahead of him.
