Smooth, smart, crafty and poised are the best ways to describe Travis Core. A natural floor leader with a great feel for the game. As a point guard the best thing I can say about Travis is that I trust him with the ball in his hands. A coach on the floor he reminds me of an old-school type point guard that finds ways to get by defenders with crafty dribbles and fakes. One thing that
makes Travis a dangerous weapon on offense is his ability to shoot the basketball. He's a pure shooter if you gamble and leave him open he will make you pay. He has good size his natural position is at point guard and he is a very good one at that. He played for the Chattanooga Steam (dade county Georgia) AAU team. Travis has good athleticism. He works hard at both ends of the floor and is a terrific leader. Travis has a great handle, gets wherever he wants with the ball and has very good court vision. He makes very good decisions with the ball and he has the ability to score or dish once he has beaten his man off the dribble. He is a pure shooter, and he is deadly from the 3-point line.
